Additionally, Denim Expert has introduced a chemical compatibility chart to ensure safe storage of chemicals and highlight their risk factors.

Other steps include the visible posting of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), installation of appropriate ventilation and temperature control in the chemical storage area, clear labelling on all chemicals following ZDHC guidance, strict adhesion to the chemical inventory list by all employees, and allocation of a designated area for chemical waste disposal and treatment.

Furthermore, the company has also established an emergency response plan, under which, any potential chemical spillage is being monitored by a specially trained technical representative.

Following its membership of the ZDHC, Denim Expert has joined more than 24 signatory brands, 59 value chain affiliates, and 15 associates including Adidas, Benetton, Burberry, ESPRIT, Gap Inc, H&M, Inditex, Levi Strauss & Co, Marks & Spencer, Hugo Boss, Nike, Puma, and Target.
