Partex Agro Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Agricultural Cooperative Development International (ACDI)/ Volunteers in Overseas Cooperative Assistance (VOCA) to act as partner for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)’s Feed the Future Bangladesh Rice and Diversified Crops (RDC) activity project.
Tim Russell, chief of party for USAID’s RDC, and KM Ali, CEO of Partex Star Group (Business Complex-1), signed the agreement on behalf of their respective parties.
Partex Agro will work together with the RDC project to market its Slender Aromatic Hybrid Rice Variety ‘JKRH-1220’ with a buy back business model to help farmers in the southern delta of Bangladesh.
