GAPEXPO-2018 to be start from January 24 in Dhaka

Bangladesh Garments Accessories & Packaging Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BGAPMEA) is going to organize the ninth edition of GAPEXPO-2018 on January 24 in Dhaka. It will be an international fair of garment accessories and packaging industries. The fair is aimed at showcasing latest products, machinery and raw materials to attract buyers, said a press release issued by BGAPMEA. BGAPMEA, ASK Trade and Exhibition Private Limited, India, and Zakaria Trade and Fair International jointly will organize expo. The four-day mega event on RMG accessories will be held in January 24-27, 2018 at the International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital. The organizers are going to introduce export trophy for the exporters of accessories in the closing day. “We are going to introduce export trophy for manufacturers to encourage them,” said BGAPMEA president Md. Abdul Kader Khan. The BGAPMEA leader further added, “The accessories sector can help attaining the export target of $50 billion by 2021 if the government provides policy support. Bangladesh has the ability to meet over 95% of local demand, while we are now exporting to some other countries.” A total of 278 companies from 17 different countries will participate to display their latest products and latest collections to garment exporters and buying houses.
