United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) on Tuesday signed an agreement with Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) on e-trafficking prosecution and a fine payment system.
As per the agreement, the payment of fines for traffic cases filed with CMP can be easily initiated through Ucash, the mobile financial service of UCB, said a press release.
Senior Vice-President and Company Secretary of UCB ATM Tahmiduzzaman and DC Sadar of CMP Shyamal Kumar Nath signed the agreement on behalf of their organisations.
Police Commissioner of CMP Md Iqbal Bahar, CMP ADC (Traffic) Devdas Bhattacharya, Managing Director of UCB AE Abdul Muhaimen and Additional Managing Director of UCB Mohammed Shawkat Jamil were present at the event along with other senior officials.
