An Egyptian court on Saturday confirmed the death sentences for 183 supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood, lawyers say. Mohammed Badie, leader of the banned group, was among those whose sentences were upheld.

New gas reserve has been found in an exploration well at Rupganj of Narayanganj, state-run Petrobangla’s exploration wing Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration and Production Company Limited (Bapex) MD MA Baki has said. This is the 26th discovered gas field of the country, he added.
