PM Hasina: Next general election will be held at any cost

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday categorically said that the election will be held at any cost and people will exercise their voting rights freely defying moves of BNP to foil the election.

Gaza shelters ‘not safe anymore’ as water runs out for 2.3m people

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said its shelters in Gaza “are not safe anymore”, calling it “unprecedented” as it warns water running out for besieged enclave’s residents.

TCB starts selling commodities at affordable prices Sunday

The state-run Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will start selling essential items from Sunday among some one crore family cardholders across the country at subsidized rates for the month of October.
