Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rains in parts of the country in 24 hours commencing 9am on Wednesday.
According to the latest Met Office bulletin, rain may occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.
Meanwhile, a mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division as well as Manikganj, Nilphamari and Rajshahi districts, and it may continue, the Met Office added.
