Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Sunday forecasted rain in different parts of the country in next 24 hours commencing from 9am.
A Met office bulletin issued in the morning said: " Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country."
The bulletin also said that day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and the night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
The highest temperature on Saturday was recorded at 37.2°C at M.Court in Chittagong division, while Sunday's minimum temperature was 20.5°C at Hatiya in Chittagong division.
The sun sets at 6:44pm on Sunday and rises at 5:10am on Monday in Dhaka.
