Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday forecasted rain in different parts of the country in next 24 hours commencing from 9am.
A Met office bulletin issued this morning said: "Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country."
The bulletin also said day and night temperatures may fall slightly over the country.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded at 36.3°C in Cox's Bazar, while today's minimum temperature was 22.5°C in Sylhet.
The sun sets at 6:44pm on Saturday and rises at 5:10am on Sunday in Dhaka.
