Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday forecast rain in different parts of the country during the next 24 hours beginning from 9am.
According to a Met Office bulletin issued this morning, light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at a few places over Chittagong division and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Chittagong division.
Day and night temperatures may rise slightly over the country, the bulletin added.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded at 36.6°C in Koyra of Khulna division, while the minimum temperature recorded on Saturday was 21.5°C in Rajshahi.
The sun sets at 6:41pm on Saturday and rises at 5:11am on Sunday in Dhaka.
