Electricity supply will remain suspended for 11 hours on Saturday in several areas of Baraigram upazila in Natore for emergency maintenance, hotspot removal and tree-branch trimming.
The outage will affect customers under the Baraigram-1 (Banpara) and Baraigram-3 (Gormati) substations from 7am to 6pm, according to a notice issued by Natore Palli Bidyut Samity-2 on Friday.
The affected areas include Banpara municipality, Joari and Majhgaon, and parts of Duaria, Nagar, Gopalpur, Chandai and Duari unions.
The utility said the schedule may change depending on the progress of the work and that power could be restored earlier if the work is completed.
It expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to customers.
