Power supply to Bangladesh’s national grid from Adani Power’s Unit-2 of the Godda power plant in Jharkhand, India, resumed on Sunday.
The unit had remained out of operation since Thursday midnight due to a technical fault.
After the fault was repaired, power supply to Bangladesh resumed, with the 800MW unit reconnecting to Bangladesh’s national grid at 12:04pm on Sunday, said Mohammad Jahurul Islam, member (Generation) of the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB).
“Currently, generation from the unit is increasing gradually,” he added.
