A total of 928,000 consumers in nine flood-affected districts in the southeastern regions of the country are currently without power.
The Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources released the data on Saturday.
According to the data, a total of 17 substations have been shut down in Feni, the hardest-hit district, leaving 441,000 customers without power.
Other affected districts include Chandpur, Noakhali, Lakshmipur, Chittagong, Comilla, Cox's Bazar, Moulvibazar, and Brahmanbaria.
Although no substations have been shut down in these eight districts, 107 out of 905 feeders (distribution lines that transmit power from substations to customers) have been taken offline, reports Daily Star.
The data shows that 218,000 customers in Noakhali, 152,000 in Comilla, 78,000 in Chittagong, and 25,000 in Lakshmipur are currently without electricity.
Meanwhile, eighteen people died and over 4.9 million people have been affected as the ongoing flood hit 77 upazilas in 11 districts of the country.
A total of 944,548 families have been stranded in the flood while 2,84,888 people and 21,695 cattle were given shelter to 3,527 shelter centers.
The flood hit 587 unions and municipalities under 77 upazilas of 11 districts.
