According to the release, in February, gas connection to two CNG stations, four commercial institutions and 49,161 gas-stoves was cut up in 26 mobile court drives operated by an executive magistrate.
About 80-km long illegal gas distribution pipeline was also removed during the period.
On January 26, gas connection to Plana Filling Station, Sundarban Filling Station, two restaurants and a chatpati stall at Bandar area in Narayanganj was permanently cut up as the business entities used commercial gas connection illegally, the release said.
Moreover on January 18, a mobile court led by an executive magistrate removed 80.24km illegal gas pipeline from Demra locality in Narayanganj.
