A man has been injured in a clash between hartal supporters and police in Madartek area under Sabuzbagh in the capital.
The injured Md Hanif, having six stray bullets in leg, was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
OC Rafiqul Islam of Sabuzbagh police said hartal supporters brought out a procession around 11am on Monday.
When police advanced close to them, three crude bombs were thrown targeting the law enforcers from the procession.
In retaliation, police fired bullets with shot gun, triggering a clash.
During the time, one picketer was injured, he added.
