Monju: Publish list of people who took refuge in cantonments

AB Party plans to field candidates in all 300 constituencies

AB Party General Secretary Mojibur Rahman Monju has said that the names of individuals who sought refuge in military cantonments should be disclosed to the public for transparency.

He expressed this opinion during an exchange of views with journalists in Feni.

During the discussion on Saturday at 12 pm, held at a venue in Feni city, he further mentioned that elections should be held after necessary reforms within one and a half to two years.

He said that the secret agreements made by the previous government with India must be made public and cancelled.

The list of 626 people who took shelter in the cantonment after Sheikh Hasina fled should be disclosed.

The people of the country want to know this.

Mojibur Rahman Monju also said that the party will aim to field candidates in all 300 constituencies in the upcoming elections.

The meeting was also addressed by the party’s Joint Secretary Asaduzzaman Fuad, who said that the people of the country have wanted a change, and it has happened.
