Four leaders from various wards of Khulna BNP have been suspended from all levels of membership, including their primary membership due to proven allegations of violating party discipline and engaging in activities contrary to the party's principles and ideals.
The decision has been taken upon the recommendation of the monitoring cell of the metropolitan BNP.
The expelled individuals are Sheikh Ainul Abedin Maruf, a member of Ward 14; Md Suman Howlader, a member of Ward 9; Habibur Rahman Bipul, joint convener of Ward 16; and Sheikh Sohel Basar, a worker from Ward 9.
This information was confirmed in a press release issued by the BNP Media Cell, citing the statements of the metropolitan BNP's convener, Advocate Shafiqul Alam Muna, and member secretary Shafiqul Alam Tuhin.
