Islami Andolan Bangladesh (IAB) Ameer Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, popularly known as charmonai pir, has said that establishing a discrimination-free state is only possible through Islamic principles.
In a recent statement, he challenged the notion that an Islamic party in power would lead to increased extremism, asserting instead that such a government would eliminate terrorism and extremism from the country.
Speaking as the chief guest at a conference organized by the Islami Jubo Andolan Bangladesh, Dhaka Metropolitan South, held at Zahur Hossain Chowdhury Hall of the National Press Club, Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim said: "There are claims that an Islamic party in power will destroy the country through extremism. I challenge these claims and affirm that an Islamic government will make the country free from terrorism and extremism."
He said: "Without Islamic principles, it is impossible to build a state free of discrimination. The people will be able to live safely and securely. If the people return to the path of the Quran, Bangladesh will become a discrimination-free and safe place to live."

He noted that Islami Andolan Bangladesh and its affiliated organizations are diligently working towards this objective.
