Biplobi Workers Party General Secretary Saiful Haque has alleged that looting is going on in the name of development and the government employees are plunged into corruption.

This government is now increasing the prices of gas and electricity, and putting the blame on the opposition political parties, including the BNP, for the increase in the price of goods, he said at an Iftar party organized by my Bangladesh Party (AB Party) on Friday.

The event was hosted by Altaf Hossain, convener of the AB Party's Dhaka Metropolitan North. Member Secretary Mojibur Rahman Manju and Central Committee Member Enamul Haque also spoke.

Saiful Haque said that Somali pirates have captured a Bangladeshi ship and held the sailors hostage. Similarly, this Awami League has taken over Bangladesh like Somali pirates, they are the occupying government.

Manju said providing food, clothes, education, health, education and treatment of the citizens of a country is the responsibility of the state and the government. But the people of Bangladesh are deprived of all rights today. “In the end, the people of this country are deprived of the right to vote.”
