Protesting Bangladesh Police's "false cases, torture, and arrests," BNP announced to stage demonstration programs across Bangladesh on November 30.

However, the program will not be held in Rajshahi and Comilla, reports Bangla Tribune.

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed, senior joint secretary general of BNP, said this at a press conference in Naya Paltan of the capital on Friday.

He said: “The future intentions of the Awami League worry the citizens of Bangladesh. With unfair and late-night elections, Awami League has become internationally isolated. The prime minister has grown increasingly frustrated as she has observed the tuenouts in BNP's divisional rallies.”

BNP is scheduled to hold a mass rally in Comilla on Saturday.

This rally will be the eighth one by the BNP, after arranging mass gatherings in Chittagong, Mymensingh, Khulna, Rangpur, Barisal, Faridpur and Sylhet.

Party leaders hope to conclude the divisional rallies through a mass gathering in Dhaka city on December 10.
