Bangladesh Mohila Awami League, the women's wing of the ruling Awami League, will hold its sixth national council on Saturday.
Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to address the opening session of the event as the chief guest.
There will be a press conference at 11am on Friday at the party's Bangabandhu Avenue office to brief the media on the preparations for the council.
