Jubo League, the youth wing of the ruling Awami League, is preparing to hold a massive rally on the historic Suhrawardy Udyan to mark its golden jubilee on Friday.
Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the rally as its chief guest.
The preparations for the rally are going on smoothly, according to organization sources. There will be a press briefing on Wednesday to let the media know about them.
Jubo League leaders are hopeful that over a million people from across the country will attend the rally.
The organization will also make arrangements so that Muslim attendees can offer their Jummah prayers at the rally venue.
