Barrister Rumeen Farhana, Bangladesh Nationalist Party’s (BNP) lone member of parliament (MP) from a seat reserved for women in parliament, has been diagnosed with Covid-19.
Farhana confirmed the matter through a status posted on her verified Facebook account on Wednesday afternoon, urging her countrymen to pray for her.

Her post drew numerous responses, wishing her a speedy recovery.
She is the latest among a growing number of lawmakers infected by the contagious disease since March.
