The main opposition Jatiya Party (JaPa) has picked its candidates for the upcoming Dhaka City corporation elections.
Brig Gen (retd) Kamrul Islam was nominated to run as the JaPa Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) candidate and Haji Saifuddin Milon was given the nomination to run as the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) candidate.
JaPa Chairman’s Deputy Press Secretary Delwar Jalali confirmed the matter on Sunday.
The two city corporation elections are slated for January 30, 2020.
