Newly-elected Awami Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash and General Secretary (GS) Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil have called on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The top twoJubo League leaders went to the prime minister’s Ganabhaban residence on Sunday evening and greeted her by presenting a bouquet, reports BSS.
During the time, Sheikh Hasina, also the president of Bangladesh Awami League, wished them success in running the organization.
Awami League General Secretary ObaidulQuader and ex-JuboLeague general secretary Harun ur Rashid were present at time.
Parash and Nikhil have been made new chairman and general secretary, respectively of Jubo League, the youth wing of Awami League, for the next three years.
Parash, the eldest son of Jubo League founder Sheikh FazlulHuq Moni, was elected unopposed during the 7th National Congress of Jubo League held at the historicSuhrawardiUdyan in Dhaka on Saturday.
