Election Commissioner Rafiqul Islam also called for all out help from the law enforcement agencies and others involved so that they could meet the responsibilities and regain people’s trust.
He made the remarks while briefing reporters at the Jagannathpur Upazila Parishad auditorium on Tuesday about the election preparation.
The briefing was conducted after a views exchange meeting on law and order ahead of the polls.
Elections to Jagannathpur upazila in Sunamganj and Osmaninagar upazila in Sylhet are set to be held on March 6.
