HC allows Khaleda to file bail petitions in 3 different cases

Two of the cases were filed in Cumilla while the third was filed in Norail

The High Court has granted permission to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to file bail petitions with the court in three separate cases.

The High Court bench of Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice JBM Hassan passed the order on Sunday.

Two of the cases were filed in Cumilla while the third was filed in Norail. 

The court also ordered the submission of the bail petitions as affidavits to the bench concern.

Earlier, Senior Advocate Khandaker Mahbub Hossain appealed to the court for the bail petitions.

While talking to reporters, Khandaker Mahbub said: “We asked the court permission to file bail petitions regarding the cases. 

“The court has granted us permission. We will file the bail petitions by 2pm.”

Mahbub Hossain also said the hearing for the bail petition may be held on Monday.
