Fakhrul: Fake Facebook accounts using my name are spreading rumours

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said some people have opened fake accounts under his name on the social networking site Facebook and are sharing comments that he did not make. He said the above in a press release that was issued from the BNP office on Sunday morning. Fakhrul said: “I do not have any Facebook account. Some dishonest people have opened fake accounts using my name and are posting various comments.” He added: “I have been noticing for a few days that some people have opened fake Facebook accounts using my name and are sharing various comments and opinions. I want to clearly state that I do not have any Facebook account. I have nothing to do with such people and comments. I will not take any responsibility for them.” Fakhrul urged everyone to not open any fake Facebook account under his name and spread false comments.
