As authorities failed to negotiate with the organisation the strikers continued their strike while this report was filed yesterday night.

When contacted, Liakat Ali, president of Purbo Bogra Auto-rickshaw Drivers’ Welfare Society, said: “We will withdraw the strike after negotiation.”
Due to the strike, local people had to suffer a lot as no auto-rickshaw plying on the road. Locals alleged, due to the strike office going people and school going students had to suffer the most as they did not get any auto-rickshaw to go schools and offices.
Sources said miscreants stabbed an auto-rickshaw driver Shahajahan Ali, 32, at Chelopara area in Bogra town on Wednesday afternoon over parking auto rickshaw at Chelopara CNG stand.
Later, Locals sent Shahajahan to Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
