The constitution reform commission engaged with prominent citizens for the second phase of discussions on constitutional reform.
The meeting took place in the cabinet room of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Tuesday.
Participants included Professor Tofail Ahmed, Professor Mahbub Ullah, Khatib Mufti Abdul Malek of Baitul Mukarram, Khushi Kabir, Subrata Chowdhury, Musa Al Hafiz, Shaheen Anam, Dr Shahidul Alam, and Mufti Sakhawat Hossain Razi, who provided input on various aspects of reform.
Led by the commission chief Professor Ali Riaz, other members in attendance included Professor Sumaiya Khair, Barrister Imran Siddique, Professor Mohammad Ikramul Haque, Dr Sharif Bhuiyan, Barrister M Moin Alam Ferozi, and Feroze Ahmed.
The commission will continue discussions with various individuals and organizations in the coming days.
