An Indian citizen has been killed in a road accident in Jessore’s Nabharon Puraton Bazar area.
Deceased Swapan Ghosh Tuna, 50, hailed from Motiganj village under Bangaon police station of West Bengal.
Nabharon highway police outpost In-Charge Afzal Hossain said Tuna was travelling to Barisal with his wife and daughter on a private car when a bus hit their car around 8:30am Friday, leaving all four passengers of the car injured.
The injured were taken to Jessore Medical College Hospital where Tuna died moments later.
