According to local sources, some local goons led by Rafiqul Islam, son of Abdur Rahim of Bachamara village entered into Bachamara High School around 11am and beat up its teacher Mohammad Ali and a female student while he was teaching in class eight.
The injured teacher and student were admitted to Shibaloy Upazila Health Complex.
Daulatpur police station Sub-Inspector Habibur Rahman said they had been informed about the incident.
“We have got evidence of the torture. If a case is filed, we will take necessary steps,” he said.
