The work of repairing a concrete road has begun at Board Hat in Pirganj upazila in Thakurgaon district.
Thakurgaon-3 MP Alhaj Md Zahidur Rahman Zahid inaugurated the road repair work at Board Hat in Pirganj upazila on Monday.
Pirganj Upazila Engineer Maidul Islam, Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad Command convener Hafizur Rahman, Pirganj Press Club President Joynal Abedin Babul, its General Secretary Nasrat Khoda Rana, UP Chairman Saidur Rahman, former VP of Pirganj Government College Asaduzzaman Chowdhury Manu and union BNP leaders were present.
The 3.5-km road connecting Board Hat and Kali Pukur is being repaired spending Tk 66 lakh.
Once the road is repaired, the connectivity of the people of eight villages, including Sengaon, Bhebra and Board Hat, will be improved.
