A youth named Sabbir (18) was killed after being stabbed by his friends in Phultala upazila of Khulna late Thursday. The incident took place at Ward No. 8 under Damodar union.
Two other teenagers, identified as Nirab and Swadhin, were also injured in the attack.
The deceased, Sabbir, was the son of Mostafa, a resident of Damodar union in Phultala upazila.
According to Khulna Additional Superintendent of Police Abir Siddiqui Shuvro, the attackers and victims were friends. A disagreement had arisen among them 4–5 days earlier, which led to the violent incident.
The body of Sabbir has been kept at the morgue of Khulna Medical College Hospital.
