The lowest temperature in the country was recorded in Tentulia of Panchagarh, while Feni experienced the highest temperature, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

In a press release issued on Wednesday, meteorologist AKM Nazmul Haque said the temperature in Tentulia dropped to 7.5°C, marking the lowest in the country. Feni recorded the highest temperature, while Dhaka’s temperature stood at 27°C.

The Met Office said the weather is likely to remain dry over the next few days, with the ongoing cold wave expected to persist. A mild cold wave sweeping over northern districts, including Panchagarh, Kurigram and Nilphamari, is likely to continue.

The release also warned that moderate fog may occur from late night to morning. Although no rainfall is expected, temperatures may gradually rise over the next five days.
