The 53rd martyrdom anniversary of Bir Shreshtha Ruhul Amin and Bir Bikram Mohibullah was observed in a befitting manner at Bangladesh Navy Headquarters in Khulna on Tuesday.
On this occasion, Regional Commander of Khulna Naval Region Commodore AKM Zakir Hossain paid tribute to the memory of the martyrs by placing wreaths and gave a guard of honor at the martyrs' monument there.
Later, special prayers were offered seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of the martyrs, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release.
Special munajat was also offered at all mosques in the naval area after Zuhr prayers seeking divine blessings of the martyrs.
