Bangladesh Navy will keep its ships in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal and Chandpur districts open for all people to visit on the occasion of the "Armed Forces Day" on Thursday.
The information came from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday.
The vessels of the Naval Force will remain open at the selected river ports from 2pm until the sun sets on the day.
The venues where ships will be kept open are BNS Chitra at Sadarghat in Dhaka, BNS Somudra Avijan at Naval Berth at New Mooring in Chattogram, BNS Shaheed Akhter Uddin at BIWTA Launch Terminal in Khulna, BNS Kapatakhaya at Digraj Naval Berth in Mongla, BNS Borkat at BIWTA Ghat of Barishal and BNS Shaheed Daulat at BIWTA Ghat in Chandpur, the ISPR release added.
