The Youth and Sports Adviser to the interim government, Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan stated that not only the Abu Naser Stadium, but all stadiums in the country will be made suitable for sports

He further added that the environment for sports will be restored.

The adviser mentioned that in the past, various political parties used religion for their own gain. The current interim government will not allow the Hindu community to be used as a political tool.

He urged everyone to be vigilant against conspiracies aimed at disrupting communal harmony.

He added: "Political parties have attempted to create communal divisions by using religion as a political tool to serve their interests. This will no longer be allowed in the new Bangladesh. As long as we are in charge, we will not let it happen."

He made these remarks on Friday evening while visiting and exchanging views at the Gollamari Harichand Thakur Temple and Bagmara Govinda Temple in Khulna.

Asif Mahmud further stated that the independence achieved through the bloodshed of students and the public will ensure that people of all religions live in harmony.

Referring to the unfortunate incident at a cultural event in a Durga Puja pavilion in Chittagong on Thursday and the theft of a golden crown from the Jeshoreshwari Temple in Satkhira, the adviser noted that the administration has already arrested the accused people, and they will be brought to justice and punished.

Later, the adviser left Khulna by road for Satkhira, where he was scheduled to visit and exchange views at several Durga Puja pavilions in various upazilas on Saturday.
