A murder case has been filed against 422 individuals, including former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, in connection with the death of rickshaw puller Abdul Mannan in Bogra.
The case was filed by Abdul Mannan's son, Rana Hamid, at Bogra Sadar police station on Wednesday night.
Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Saihan Oliullah confirmed the information on Thursday.
According to the plaintiff's statement, Abdul Mannan was shot dead during a student movement at the Baragola traffic junction in Bogra on August 4.
In the case, Sheikh Hasina and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader have been named as those who ordered the incident.
Saihan said that efforts are underway to arrest the accused.
