An activist of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, who had been missing since September 5, was found unconscious in the Labanchara area of Khulna city on Wednesday.
He was identified as Kadrul Hasan, a student of Government Hazi Mohammad Muhasin College and a part-time employee of Sheikhpara Popular Diagnostic Centre in the city.
Palash Kumar, officer-in-charge of Labanchara police station, said local people found Kadrul unconscious in front of Sultania Ahmmed Jame-e-Mosque on Darogaar Lane around 4am and informed the police.
Later, he was taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital for treatment.
Earlier, two general diaries were lodged with Khulna Sadar and Sonadanga police stations after he went missing.
