A clash occurred between police and anti-discrimination student movement protesters in Sylhet.
The incident took place on Sunday afternoon in the Court Point area in Sylhet, resulting in several individuals injured.
The names and identities of the injured could not be known immediately.
Eyewitnesses reported that following a pre-announced schedule, students and local residents began gathering at Court Point after 11am.
During this time, many participated in the procession armed with sticks.
Clashes broke out around 12pm when police unexpectedly fired tear gas shells at the rally.
The clash was still ongoing till filing this report.
