At least two people have been killed and 30 others injured in a clash between protestors and Awami League men in Munshiganj.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
As protesters under the banner “Anti-Discrimination Student Movement” gathered in the morning, clashes broke out between them and leaders and activists of the Awami League, Chhatra League, and Jubo League.
The clashes took place in phases from 9:45am to 11:45am on Sunday.
Numerous cocktail explosions occurred during the incident.
