As the tensions have escalated between the Arakan Army and the country's government forces in Myanmar, some members of Myanmar's Border Guard Police (BGP), along with other security personnel, have attempted to intrude Bangladesh aboard two wooden trawlers to save their lives amid the ongoing war.
Currently, these two trawlers were found floating in the Naf River after the failed attempt to intrude.
Bangladesh Coast Guard on Sunday intercepted the trawlers in the Teknaf-Myanmar transit ghat near Jaliapara of Teknaf Municipality.
The two trawlers have been carrying over a hundred members of Myanmar's security forces.
