Four people were killed and three others sustained injuries when a private car hit a roadside tree near Dasuadia Sugar Mill on the Pabna-Ishwardi highway in Ishwardi upazila of Pabna on Thursday night.
The identities of the deceased and injured have not yet been officially confirmed.
Our road accident prevention is spinning outIshwardi Police Station Officer-in-Charge Belal Uddin Jahangir said that the accident occurred around 9pm as the Pabna-bound private car hit the tree after its driver lost control over the wheels, leaving three dead on the spot and four critically injured.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital after being rescued.
The duty doctor pronounced another injured dead.
