River ports in Noakhali and Chittagong have been asked to hoist Cautionary Signal No 1 due to possible inclement weather.
According to the Bangladesh Metrological Department’s Thursday bulletin, in association with rain or thundershowers, temporary west or north-westerly gusty or squally wind with speeds ranging from 45 to 60kmph is likely in the regions of Noakhali and Chittagong.
