He suffered heatstroke while having tea at a tea stall on Rupkatha Road in Pabna on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the people around rescued him and took him to Pabna General Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
The deceased Sukumar Das, 60, was a resident of Shalgaria Zakir intersection, Pabna.
