A Bangladeshi teen has been killed and a man has been injured in firing by India’s Border Security Force in Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar, near the border shared by the two nations.
Saddam, 13, was bringing his cows back home from the Shikoria border area in Prithimpassa union at around 2:30pm on Sunday when a patrol team of the BSF opened fire, which left him dead on the spot and Siddique, 36, injured, according to locals.
Hari Jiban, company commander of Alinagar BGB camp, confirmed the death, before telling this correspondent over the phone he would disclose more details later, adding that he was currently with BSF officials.
