Tetulia records lowest temperature at 7.2°C

  • Mild cold wave sweeping over parts of the country 
  • The weather may remain dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky

Tetulia in Panchagarh district recorded the lowest temperature in Bangladesh at 7.2°C on Saturday morning as a mild cold wave is sweeping parts of the country.

The temperature was recorded at 9am in the district by the Meteorological Office.

On Friday, the lowest temperature of this season was recorded at 5.8°C

The weather may remain dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, according to a met office release published in the morning.

Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and light to moderate fog at places elsewhere over the country from midnight to morning. Inland river transport may be disrupted due to thick fog.

A mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the districts of Gopalgonj, Kishoregonj, Moulvibazar, Jessore, Kushtia, and Chuadanga and it may continue.

Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
