90% of students passed Alim exam

This year, 90.75% of students passed the Alim examination under the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board. In 2022, the pass rate was 92.56%.

As a result, there has been a decrease in the pass rate for Alim by approximately 1.81%.

The results were published on the Madrasa Education Board's website and in respective educational institutions at 11 am on Sunday. This information is based on the published results.

It is known that this year, 98,139 candidates from the Madrasa Education Board registered for the Alim examination, and more than 86,000 students have passed.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni handed over the summary of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official Ganabhaban residence at 10am on Sunday.

This year a total of 1,374,488 students sat for HSC and equivalent exams from August 17 to September 25. Of them, 698,135 are boys and 676,353 are girls.

How to check results

To get results through SMS on your mobile phone, write HSC, then the first three letters of your education board's name, roll number and 2023, and send it to 16222 (eg HSC Dha 123456 2023 send to 16222).

The results will be informed in the return SMS.

Besides, the results can be known by going to http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd/ with the roll and registration number.

To get Alim results, write ALIM, Mad, roll number and 2023 ( all separated by a space), and send the text to 16222.

For technical board students, write HSC, Tec, roll number and 2023, and send it to 16222.
