Khulna teen arrested for dumping father’s body in sepctic tank after murder
The victim was reported missing in May this year

Police have arrested a teenager, as well as his accomplice, on charges of killing his father and dumping the body inside the septic tank of his house in Rupsha upazila of Khulna.
Niyamul Islam Tanvir, 18, and Jumman, 40, were arrested on Thursday afternoon.
The body of Enamul Huq Enta, 50, was recovered from the septic tank of his house the previous day.
According to Rupsha police station OC Sardar Mosharraf Hossain, Tanvir killed his father by hitting him in the head with a blunt object on May 9, before hiding the body in the tank with the help of Jumman.
Tanvir then convinced everyone that Enta had either gone missing or died after falling into water as he had epilepsy.
On Wednesday, Tanvir beat up his 11-year-old brother Nayeem, prompting the latter to shout and let locals know that his father had actually been killed.
Upon receiving the information, police recovered the body and arrested Tanvir and Jumman in a span of 24 hours, OC Hossain told Dhaka Tribune.
